This event marks the public presentation of the first phase of the "Transformations" project, developed by Italian sound artist and performer Matto Zoppi during his March 2026 residency at Errant Sound.

During the residency, Matto Zoppi conducted a series of recorded conversations and improvisation sessions with artists whose work engages with the voice as a performantive and compositional practice. Among the contributors to this first phase of the research are Alessandra Eramo, Gabi Pedrosa, and Deva Schubert.

silent green presents: Melentini & the Running Blue Orchestra have been expressing themselves through a diverse range of musical styles for nearly two decades. Her works blend melancholic, contemporary, ambient, avant-garde, and synthwave elements, often pulsing with rhythmic grooves and dancing beats. Her voice reveals traces of Greek and Balkan folk traditions. Her upcoming fourth studio album, Everything We’ve Lost, is deeply influenced by the humanitarian crisis of recent years and her own experience of migration. // Dalai Cellai is a singing cellist and composer who creates original music for cello and voice. In her solo release Ellipsis to Infinity, both forms of expression merge into a shared, unmistakable sonic language.

Icelandic Theremin Musician Hekla Magnúsdóttir is a rare specialist of the theremin, a notoriously inscrutable electronic instrument, joining a miniscule group of musicians in mastery of its esoteric mysteries. Classically informed, her playing covers an enormous range, from skittering birdsong of chirrups and chirps to tectonic sub-bass. Her fans in the wider music community - PJ Harvey, for example - describe her style alongside musicians such as Colleen, Julia Holter or the late Jóhann Jóhannsson. Hekla released two albums in 2025: The acclaimed album Turnar and her current EP Gjá (10.12.2025). The Hologram: a peer-to-peer care protocol

facilitated by Magdalena Jadwiga Härtelova

One part social practice, one part technology of revolution, and one part feminist science fiction come to life, The Hologram is a lightweight, replicable, autonomous protocol for human cooperation which at its simplest level sees three people (a triangle) offer care, support and transformative questions to a fourth (the hologram). Soon members of the triangle themselves become holograms with new triangles and the health virus spreads. In time, the triangle becomes a living medical record for the hologram. We hacked everyday online tools to make this open-source, peer-to-peer, viral social technology feel warm and accessible.

Seit 20 Jahren spielen Jörg Hochapfel, Chad Popple und John Hughes in dem Klaviertrio Hosho. Die Musik Hoshos pendelt sich zwischen freier Improvisation und plastischen, komponierten Strukturen und Liedern, die bei jeder Aufführung immer neu gestaltet werden können.

In 2025 hatte Hosho seine erste offizielle Veröffentlichung auf dem Hamburger Label brennt recs. Es hat positive Rezensionen gegeben und ist u.a. bei dem Kultplattenladen Michelle Records erhältlich. Hosho hat bei mehreren Festivals, z. B. Avantgarde Festival Schiphorst, Nøtdutgangfestival Bødo und Jazzopen Hamburg gespielt. In 2023 hat Hosho mit der argentinischen Saxofonspielerin Camila Nebbia im Rahmen von blurred edges gespielt. Im April 2026 plant Hosho einer Tournee, um deren erst Veröffentlichung zu präsentieren. Für das Berlin Konzert am 4. April werden die drei mit der Saxofonist Tobias Delius im Quartett spielen.

Juana Molina

Born in Argentina to a tango singer and an actress, Juana Molina grew up surrounded by music and developed a distinctly eclectic style from an early age. After becoming one of Argentina’s most popular TV comedians, she turned her full attention to music, crafting a genre-blending sound between folk, electronica, and ambient. In 2025, she released DOGA, her first album of new compositions in eight years, revealing a sound world that feels both familiar and continually surprising.

na-mute-na: Istanbul electroacoustic nights #3 is an experimental music concert series that focuses on electroacoustic and improvised sound practices in Berlin and Istanbul. It aims to be part of a long-standing exchange between two cities and to broaden the scene beyond national borders. “na-mute-na” is a term evoking the word "mute"—to silence. Framed with the prefix "na-" and the mirrored suffix "-na", it suggests a reversal or undoing of that silencing: to unmute, to resist being muted, to speak again.

SANAM is a six-piece ensemble from Beirut that blends experimental rock with traditional Egyptian music and contemporary Arabic poetry. Their sound moves between psych, krautrock, jazz, electronics, and improvisation—layered, atmospheric, and genre-defying.

Karmelgebach has its origins in Stockholm, because there, some years ago, the exchange students Niko Meinhold from Berlin and Roberta Andersen from Reykjavik met and established that they can make music together very well. They met again in Berlin; Tobias Schirmer and Kay Lübke joined them. After some performances in Germany and at the Reykjavik Jazz Festival, their paths went separate ways again; Roberta was on world tour with the band múm, Kay among others with the Silke Eberhard Trio, and Niko and Tobias were on the road with the trio Kokotob. They never lost sight of each other entirely, and so we look forward very much to the reunion in the year 2026.

Ex-Easter Island Head + Sun Kit

Ex-Easter Island Head are a UK-based experimental musical collective composing and performing music for solid body electric guitar, percussion and other instruments. The group plays multiple electric guitars augmented through mechanical preparations and extended techniques, creating hypnotic performances rich in repetition, shimmering drones and melodic invention through purposefully limited means.

Sun Kit is an experimental band from Berlin, consisting of Jules Reidy (guitar) and Andreas Dzialocha (bass). Their debut album All The Patterns Inside (2024) combines spectral guitar and bass sounds with electronics, distortion, and autotune. Inspired by Low, Cocteau Twins, and My Bloody Valentine, Sun Kit creates atmospheric soundscapes between post-rock, pop, and ambient.

Zwischen Jehan Alain und Dror Feiler bestehen kaum stilistische, dafür umso tiefere innere Verbindungen. Beide sehen Musik nicht als formales Spiel oder ästhetische Verzierung, sondern als existenzielle Praxis von Ernst und Dringlichkeit. Dror Feilers Kompositionen arbeiten mit Extremen von Lautstärke, Dauer und Dichte, oft bis an die Grenze des Erträglichen. Traditionelle Formen von Entwicklung, Ausdruck oder Schönheit werden bewusst vermieden; stattdessen entstehen akustische Räume von Überforderung, Stillstand und Druck. Musik „erzählt“ hier nicht – sie konfrontiert.

Jehan Alains Werke wirken gleichzeitig archaisch und modern, spirituell und körperlich, improvisatorisch und hochkonzentriert. Seine Trois Danses folgen einer existenziellen inneren Dramaturgie von Leben, Verlust und Kampf. Ostinati, motorische Patterns, ungerade Akzente und tranceartige Wiederholungen prägen eine Musik, die weniger an klassische Orgelästhetik erinnert als an Tanz und Ritual – und die auf körperlicher Ebene unmittelbar erfahrbar wird.
