RUPP/ SASSOON & OHLMEIER/ FISCHERLEHNER
Set 1: Olaf Rupp – guitar Julie Sassoon – piano Julie Sassoon’s intricate, textural structures—infused with almost magical, inner melodies—meet the unconventional tone-agglomerations created by Olaf Rupp’s generative sound fields. Their work, though complex in description, is far more accessible and closely intertwined than one might expect. At it‘s core, it is a profound dialogue in the most musical sense. Sassoon has graced numerous contemporary classical, jazz, and improvised music festivals, both as a soloist and with her own quartet. Olaf Rupp, a uniquely inventive guitarist, dedicates himself to the world of improvised music, whether performing solo or collaborating in duos with Ulrike Brand or Rudi Fischerlehner. Together, they explore the many dimensions of musical expression, creating an immersive and evolving listening experience. Set 2: Lothar Ohlmeier – bass clarinet Rudi Fischerlehner – drums https://www.lotharohlmeier.com/ https://www.rudifischerlehner.net/ Open Doors: 20:00h I Concert: 20:30h 10-20€ on Donation/ Sliding Scale |

Denkraum Improvisation
Resonant Encounters :Ya-Nung Huang & Raed Yassin / Marina Cyrino & Tony Elieh
Donation : 10 - 15 Euros 20:30 : Marina Cyrino & Tony Elieh 21:30 : Ya-Nung Huang & Raed Yassin Ya-Nung Huang : Suona and double reed instruments Raed Yassin : Synths & electronics In an evocative meeting of sound and sensibility, Raed Yassin and Ya-Nung Huang embark on a collaboration that bridges experimental music, traditional forms, and the politics of noise. Yassin, a Beirut-born musician and artist, brings his distinct approach to electronics, sampling, and sonic narrative. Huang, a Taiwanese musician known for her mastery of the Suona and other double reed instruments, channels the raw, expressive power of these traditional sounds into contemporary experimental contexts. Together, they create immersive sonic landscapes where distorted memory, ritual intensity, and cross-cultural resonance converge. The piercing timbres of the Suona weave through Yassin’s shifting electronic textures, forming a sound world that is at once ancient and futuristic full of tension and transformation. Marina Cyrino : Amplified Flute Tony Elieh : Acoustic Bass, Pedals Marina Cyrino and Tony Elieh explore the edges of their instruments and of listening itself. Cyrino, known for her adventurous and embodied approach to the flute, uses breath, friction, and movement to extend the voice of her instrument far beyond its traditional limits. Elieh, brings a deep, tactile sensitivity shaped by his roots in experimental rock, noise and improv. His playing moves between grounded resonance and percussive abstraction, carving out space for dialogue and rupture. Together, they engage in a raw, exploratory exchange where sound becomes a shared act of discovery, vulnerability, and intensity. |

Resonant Encounters :Ya-Nung Huang & Raed Yassin / Elisabetta Lanfredini & Matthias Koole
Donation : 10 - 15 Euros 20:30 : Elisabetta Lanfredini & Matthias Koole 21:30 : Ya-Nung Huang & Raed Yassin Ya-Nung Huang : Suona and double reed instruments Raed Yassin : Synths & Electronics In an evocative meeting of sound and sensibility, Raed Yassin and Ya-Nung Huang embark on a collaboration that bridges experimental music, traditional forms, and the politics of noise. The piercing timbres of the suona weave through Yassin’s shifting electronic textures, forming a sound world that is at once ancient and futuristic—full of tension and transformation. Elisabetta Lanfredini : Voice Matthias Koole : Acoustic Guitar Lanfredini’s voice, raw, agile, and deeply physical, moves through whispers, utterances, and melodic fragments, while Koole’s prepared guitar and extended techniques fracture conventional harmony into texture and gesture. Their encounter is not a duet in the traditional sense, but a volatile conversation between two restless sound explorers. Rooted in free improvisation, noise, and vocal experimentation, their collaboration unfolds in real time, embracing risk, silence, and sudden rupture, a meeting where sound becomes body, and body becomes sound. |

The Complete Works Of Eric Dolphy. In der neuen XL-Formation hingegen performt Potsa Lotsa ausschließlich Stücke von Silke Eberhard https://potsalotsa.com/konzerte/ Open Doors: 20:00h I Concert: 20:30h 10-20€ on Donation/ Sliding Scale |

Set 1:
Anaïs Tuerlinckx: prepared piano Emilio Gordoa: snare drum Emilio Gordoa (snare drum) and Anaïs Tuerlinckx (prepared piano) create a distinctive sonic world, sharing a common approach to expanding their instruments: metallic resonances and tormented scraping sounds, fragmented rhythms and lost melodies. Their encounter gives rise to a mutated instrument in the present moment, one whose contours remain elusive, drawing us into a universe of sensuous sonic textures. Set 2: Valentin Duit: drums Yoram Rosilio: double bass Alyona Pynzenyk: violin The trio Pynzenyk/Rosilio/Duit is a working ensemble that improvises freely. The three musicians bring different musical backgrounds ranging from traditional music to (free) jazz and contemporary classical music with them. They discuss various perspectives and experiment with possible approaches to improvisation but rely ultimately on their musical intuition and their shared enthusiasm for the creative dialogue in the moment. https://soundcloud.com/alyona-pynzenyk/pynzenyk-rosilio-duit-trio Open Doors: 20:00h I Concert: 20:30h 10-20€ on Donation/ Sliding Scale |

Rub off the dark presents:
Alasdair Roberts & Fredrik Rasten Support: Joey Gavin (Experimental, Transtraditional, Folk) The Scottish/Norwegian duo of Alasdair Roberts (Drag City) and Fredrik Rasten fuses their respective work with traditional music, folk song and experimental minimalism. The duo focus on traditional Scottish narrative ballads, often with long durations, and where slowly evolving musical materials build up throughout the strophic verse-structure to emphasise the storytelling. The duo employs both field recordings and printed sources of traditional song as the basis of their interpretations, often evolving new original compositions and always resulting in a meeting point between time-honoured and contemporary forms of musical expression. Joey Gavin is an Irish songwriter and guitarist based in Berlin. https://linktr.ee/joeygavin |

SCHWINGENSCHLÖGEL - JEFFERY - ROSE
Paul Schwingenschlögel: trumpet Hilary Jeffery: trombone Simon Rose: baritone saxophone Three masters of free improvisation explore the sound spectrum of their instruments in joint interaction, ranging from the deep, powerful tones of the baritone saxophone to the high register of the trumpet. The trombone quickly changes from register to register with sprawling glissandi. Through special overblowing techniques, however, the baritone sax also climbs to great heights, while the trumpet glides into the low register by means of pedal tones whereas the trombone forms the sonorous basis as a connecting element. Pulsating staccato phrases lead into broad soundscapes, interrupted by sporadic melodic phrases. An overwhelming sound experience! https://hiljef.com/ https://paul-schwingenschloegl.de/ https://www.simonrose.org/ Open Doors: 20:00h I Concert: 20:30h 10-20€ on Donation/ Sliding Scale |

Through our work over the last four seasons, we have investigated what these roles mean to each of us, and enquired as to how we can fulfil them with openness, artistic integrity, and authenticity, both as a group and at an individual level. We present our work through a diverse range of sonic resources, encompassing string, woodwind and brass instruments, as well as live and pre-recorded electronics. http://www.guilhermerodrigues.net Open Doors: 20:00h I Concert: 20:30h 10-20€ on Donation/ Sliding Scale |

loscil pres. Lake Fire
LOSCIL is the electronic music project of Canadian composer and multimedia artist Scott Morgan. For over 20 years, Morgan has built a robust catalogue of work under the LOSCIL moniker, loosely spanning the genres of ambient, classical and electroacoustic music. In May 2025 LOSCIL returns with Lake Fire, a nine-track offering of ash-laden sonics that mine the tension within the cycle of destruction and rejuvenation. Lake Fire is the result of a disjointed creative process. The result is a phoenix, an album burnt to the ground only to be reassembled out of its cinders.
