Durchgehend 14 - 21 Uhr / Continuously from 2 pm to 9 pm: "Kleefeld Klangfeld" – Sound Arts – Sonic Pedagogy This exhibition, with an invitation for conversation and exchange about sound art and sonic pedagogy, shows work produced in the context of the ‘Kunst am Bau’ project "Kleefeld Klangfeld", commission by the city of Bern, Switzerland, for a primary school in Bern-Kleefeld. For the first two years of the project, between 2022 and 2024, Salomé Voegelin and David Mollin commissioned Jan Schacher and Antye Greie-Ripatti (AGF), to work with the school environment and the children. This exhibition at ohrenhoch presents work generated from their respective residencies. (Additionally, on Sunday June 22nd at 4 pm there will be a short presentation of the project followed by an open discussion about working with sound art in a pedagogical context.) https://kleefeldklangfeld.com https://ohrenhoch.berlin |

KellKuhnSchrot AND Isabel Anders KellKuhnSchrot Christian Kühn - gtr, Kellen Mills - bass, Daniel Schröteler - drums KellKuhnSchrot is the collision point where noise, free improvisation, and the raw spirit of rock and punk explode into something entirely new. Formed in 2024, the trio brings together three deeply seasoned experimentalists: Christian Kühn, Kellen Mills, and Daniel Schröteler—each with roots in jazz, rock, and the outer edges of sonic exploration. Isabel Anders - piano Isabel Anders is a German/Cuban pianist, composer, and improviser based in Berlin. Her intention with improvisation is to conduct a musical dialogue with the other performers, and to let ideas and inspiration from various sources and art forms merge in a non-elitist manner into a timeless form of expression. The first released album was based on a book of poems “Les Fleurs du Mal” written by Charles Baudelaire, after which several pieces for strings, percussion and piano were composed. |

Expanded Improvisation Workshop:
6pm to 9pm What does improvisation mean today, in a time of shrinking freedoms and growing censorship? We invite you to join us for a session shaped by this question. Drawing on the format of Eddie Prévost’s London Improvisation Workshop, we will begin by sitting in a circle and rotating in duos. Most of the time will be spent listening rather than playing. When we do play, we explore new ways of making sound—thinking through and practicing improvisation in an expanded sense, where anything can become material: sound, language, gesture, subjectivity—even our lack of freedom. This lack feels especially acute in today’s political climate, where the rise of authoritarianism and fascism advances through the distortion of language and the erosion of attention and sociability. In this workshop, we attempt to reconsider improvisation in light of these urgent changes in society today. Anyone is welcome to bring something to the circle. It doesn’t need to be musical—it could be a problem, a suggestion, a political concern, something practical, or anything else you’d like to bring from the outside in. No prior musicianship is required. —David Grundy & Mattin We are in the big building in front of the Jewish Museum. On the east side of the building, facing the museum, there is a bicycle shop. If you are standing in front of it, go to your right (north), and you will find a Korean restaurant called NaNum, continue on the alley; we are on the 7th studio to your left. |

#SOLO NIGHT
Set 1: Fabiana Striffler: violin, voice “Fabiana Striffler is a very gifted violinist who plays straight from the heart. Her beautiful sound is a reflection of who she is. Fabiana possesses a rare balance of sharp intuition and intellect, which allows her to create pure music, no matter the creative context.” (Garry Dial, New York – Grammy-winner, “Live at the Village Vanguard”) https://www.fabianastriffler.com/ Set 2: Decaln Forde: piano Declan Forde is a Scottish pianist, originally from Glasgow, who has been a vital part of Berlin’s Jazz scene since 2014. His music explores the delicate balance between tradition and innovation, blending a deep reverence for the history of improvised music with daring explorations into the unknown. Forde’s performances are known for their dynamic range, shifting from intricately melodic to provocatively disruptive. His music often defies easy categorisation, yet it is always infused with humour and joy that challenge expectations of what Jazz can be. https://declanfordemusic.com/ Open Doors: 20:00h I Concert: 20:30h 10-20€ on Donation/ Sliding Scale |

Contagious Concert Series Partners In Crime III
Contagious & Yosa Peit The third edition of the concert series Partners in Crime continues to focus on Berlin-based female musicians. The trio Contagious is a solid blending of avant-garde experimentation and electronic music. For the concert series, they invite three distinct musical voices with diverse backgrounds whose music reflects on different musical scenes: Jazz, traditional Brazilian music, Noise, DYI, electronic Funk. Together they explore the transformative power of improvisation and collective action. Denkraum Improvisation
Rub off the dark presents:
Alasdair Roberts & Fredrik Rasten Support: Joey Gavin (Experimental, Transtraditional, Folk) The Scottish/Norwegian duo of Alasdair Roberts (Drag City) and Fredrik Rasten fuses their respective work with traditional music, folk song and experimental minimalism. The duo focus on traditional Scottish narrative ballads, often with long durations, and where slowly evolving musical materials build up throughout the strophic verse-structure to emphasise the storytelling. The duo employs both field recordings and printed sources of traditional song as the basis of their interpretations, often evolving new original compositions and always resulting in a meeting point between time-honoured and contemporary forms of musical expression. Joey Gavin is an Irish songwriter and guitarist based in Berlin. https://linktr.ee/joeygavin |

Silent Green Kuppelhalle |
loscil pres. Lake Fire
LOSCIL is the electronic music project of Canadian composer and multimedia artist Scott Morgan. For over 20 years, Morgan has built a robust catalogue of work under the LOSCIL moniker, loosely spanning the genres of ambient, classical and electroacoustic music. In May 2025 LOSCIL returns with Lake Fire, a nine-track offering of ash-laden sonics that mine the tension within the cycle of destruction and rejuvenation. Lake Fire is the result of a disjointed creative process. The result is a phoenix, an album burnt to the ground only to be reassembled out of its cinders.
