CENTAZZO–SJÖSTRÖM–BEYER–KNEER
Harri Sjöström – soprano saxophone Andrea Centazzo – percussion Kriton Beyer – daxophone, electronics Meinrad Kneer – double bass A rare and captivating lineup by some of today’s most innovative contemporary improvisers. Blurring the boundaries between structure and spontaneity, their upcoming concert at the Kühlspot Social Club in Berlin promises a dynamic range of sounds: from raw, noise-infused textures to delicate melodic passages, and from abstract experimentation to infectious rhythmic grooves – a one-of-a-kind sonic experience that defies easy categorization. Each moment unfolds unpredictably, shaped by the immediate energy of the room and the chemistry between the performers. The result is a deeply immersive journey through the outer edges of improvisational music, reflecting the ensemble’s spirit of artistic freedom and bold experimentation. |

Space in Between
Marco Sickinger (Drums, Composition, Arrangement) Daniel Sauer (Tenor Saxophone) Nicolas Buvat (Double Bass) It’s a Release Concert of their Debut Album Aporia I feat. Christopher Dell Space in Between researches improvisationally. What does improvisation mean? How does it work in real time? Where is the boundary to composition? By consciously experimenting, fundamental musical parameters such as sound production, rhythm or harmony are negotiated in the creative interaction. Space in Between consists of Marco Sickinger (drums, composition), Daniel Sauer (tenor saxophone), and Nicolas Buvat (double bass). Always in search of a “new” music, always ready to let yourself be surprised, complex sound sculptures arise, shaped equally by intuition and spatial awareness. Simply: Space in Between. The trio’s debut album will be released in 2025 on Blassrot Records (Berlin) |

Hunger & Orchestre Harmonie de St. Tricotin – „Trikotin“-Releasekonzert
Hunger: Christoph Rothmeier (Die Lampe, Kröter) - Schlagzeug, Synthesizer, Theremin. Jörg Hochapfel (Bruchgold & Koralle, Onom Agemo & The Disco Jumpers, Palais d’Amour) - Keyboards, Gitarre. Mit dem Orchester „Harmonie de St. Tricotin“: Fabiana Striffler (Violine), Uwe Haas (Bassklarinette), Anna Viechtl (Harfe), Kalle Zeier (Gitarre) und Isabel Rössler (Kontrabass). Hunger 25.11. Sumanth Manjunath (violin)
Julius Gabriel (saxophone) Sumanth Manjunath, a Carnatic violin virtuoso from Mysuru, and Berlin-based saxophonist Julius Gabriel create a distinctive musical dialogue where Indian classical ragas, free jazz improvisation, and drone music intertwine. Their collaboration grew out of a shared curiosity about how their distinct musical languages can intersect and evolve in real time. In the tradition of the Indian jugalbandi—a dialogue between equals—the duo moves effortlessly between composed structures and open improvisation. |

Open Lab #5: elisanyhm + sexette
We are excited to establish a new format with silent green Open Lab for young Berlin musicians taking their first steps onto the stage — free from pressure or market-driven presentation. elisanyhm - Composer, sound artist, and dj based in Berlin. Her work is located at the intersection between spoken word and electronic music. She mainly uses FM synthesis, voice, field recordings, and found sounds to generate textural sonic landscapes. sexette - Drawing from a year of isolation and chronic illness, sexette creates ambient soundscapes and surreal poetry that oscillate between lullaby and unease. Using kaossilators, bedroom-born sounds, and accidental glitches, their work explores longing, sickness, and the nonlinear rhythms of grief. https://www.silent-green.net/en/programme/detail/2025/12/1/silent-green-open-lab-5 Doors: 7 pm / Start: 8 pm | Free admission |

OSWALD (COP) / CAJADO / BUCK
Margaux Oswald - piano Vinicius Cajado - bass Tony Buck - drums A first meeting between three strong voices in the European improvised music scene. Margaux Oswald is a pianist of French-Filipina origin, born in Geneva, and currently based in Copenhagen. She has played the piano since the age of 5, and is now committed to the art of free improvisation. Her solo piano debut album Dysphotic Zone, released on Clean Feed Records, was chosen as one of the best solo album of 2022 by the New York City Jazz Record.Vinicius Cajado is a musician from São Paulo, Brazil. His music makes use of silence at the same volume and pace that makes the use of harsh noise. He blends storytelling, minimalism, maximalism, spectral music, avant-garde and contemporary Brazilian music concepts into a super fast reactive playing. Tony is regarded as one of Australia’s most creative and adventurous exports, with vast experience across the globe. As a drummer, percussionist, improviser, guitarist, video maker and producer, he has been involved in a highly diverse array of projects but is probably best known around the world as a member of the trio “The Necks”. |

Christian Marien Quartett - Record Release Konzert
Tobias Delius: Tenorsaxophon, Klarinette Jasper Stadhouders: Gitarre Antonio Borghini: Kontrabass Christian Marien: Schlagzeug „This is a quartet that doesn’t just play together; they breathe together.” Lynn René Bayley, The Art Music Lounge, 29.1.2024 Mit diesem Konzert feiern wir die Veröffentlichung unseres zweiten Albums „Beyond the Fingertips”. |
